WAFFLES4WHEELS CELEBRATES AND SUPPORTS MEALS ON WHEELS, SMALL BUSINESS, AND COMMUNITY

In a time of uncertainty, we remain true to our mission: To feed bodies and nurture souls.

Piloted in Spokane, WA, our regular week-long community-building and fundraising campaign in support of Meals on Wheels and Locally Owned Restaurants will return at an appropriate time – and it will grow beyond eastern Washington. With the suspension of our regularly-scheduled April campaign in Spokane County, our tactics have changed but our focus remains squarely on supporting and connecting Meals on Wheels and the locally-owned restaurant community.  In fact, our mission is more important than ever and our message is bigger than Spokane. We are committed to:

#SupportMealsonWheels by amplifying their urgent need for help of all kinds.

#SupportLocal with purpose-driven, community-based content marketing.

#BuildCommunity by connecting, informing and thinking globally.

#CHEFSHOWANDTELL 4 MEALS ON WHEELS

“CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MEALS ON WHEELS TO HELP OUR MOST VULNERABLE NEIGHBORS”

This is our message. Launched collaboratively by Waffles4Wheels, Edible InlandNW Magazine and Rosauer’s Kitchen, #ChefShowandTell is a purpose-driven community-building and awareness campaign in support of Meals on Wheels. The social media video campaign is both a call to action on behalf of Meals on Wheels, and a way for local chefs and cooks of ALL kinds to engage and connect with people by teaching essential recipes and sharing basic cooking knowledge.

Through our universal love of food and family, the intent of #ChefShowandTell is to authentically connect people throughout the country (and world) with messages of positivity, productivity and resourcefulness.

Scripted and rehearsed, edited, or live and off-the-cuff, we recommend participants use video formats and platforms that are accessible to most people. To provide positive content for homebound families and kids, and to be mindful of those getting by with less, we encourage the following content themes:
